Boring Biopsy Needle for Brain Lesions
Boring biopsy method for brain lesions is newly developed by Shinshu University School of Medicine, Matsumoto City, Japan. When brain lesion observed, biopsy of brain tumor would be done to determine if it is benign or malignant, and then to decide on courses of treatment, and to assess such treatment effect.
Continuous layered specimens from brain lesions can be obtained by boring biopsy method with minimally invasion, which yield conducible information about cellular alteration and differentiation of tumor tissue and contribute to accurate pathology assessment and diagnosis of disease conditions.
